The bad news: No bridge and my Nikon’s batteries ran out just when I wanted to use it. The good news: I saw Quincy Bay as I ran on Sea Street, and I had taken my phone with me in case I needed the GPS. (New route.) Even better, my body held up better than I would have expected. I wasn’t fast, but I wasn’t sore either.
I couldn’t make it to the Cooper River Bridge Run this year, so I decided to have a little event of my own. I got up, got dressed and headed out at 8am sharp. I had originally planned to take the train downtown for this, but it was so cold outside that I decided to move the Starting Line to my apartment. Even then, I had to wear the gloves the tights, the ear-warmers… I was totally sexy.
